Caxton 

We operate from below Tonbridge Castle, 50 metres upstream from the Big Bridge.
Public trips.
The Caxton pleasure boat leaves the castle grounds on its 1 hour return trip passing under the Big Bridge to Tonbridge Town Lock and into open countryside where passengers may be lucky enough to see Kingfishers and Mink.

and every day during School Summer Holidays

Private Charter.  Caxton is available for private charter weekday or any evenings for business promotions, lunches, parties, schools etc.

Britannia II

Trip boat.  Britannia II is one of the two 27' "Jolly Boats" that were in service on the Royal Yacht between 1953 and 1980.
Built by R.A. Newman & Sons of Poole, they have double diagonal planking with carvel skin made of Honduras mahogany. Click here for more information.

Leaving from Tonbridge Castle Walk to Haysden Country Park.  Ride on the Britannia II with us and have a relaxing day out!  Britannia II can also be hired out for Weddings at Tonbridge Castle.

Rowing Boats
At the Big Bridge you can hire rowing boats for £7 per hour.  
Open weekends, bank holidays and school summer holidays, also group bookings.
You can get a leaflet from the Tonbridge Tourist Information Office, or from our Big Bridge staff.
