The Tonbridge Tourist Information office is situated in the Castle grounds, within the mansion building adjacent to the castle.  This office has won awards for its work and is open Mondays to Saturdays 8am to 5pm.   Sundays  10am to 4pm. The staff will be only to pleased to help you with your queries and enquiries.

From the office summer boat trips on the Medway can be arranged and throughout the year 'Walkman' style cassette players can be hired to enhance the enjoyment of a tour around the castle.  (Telephone them first for details as work is taking place on the Keep which will require its closure during certain months). 

There are a number of splendid local walks complied by the Tonbridge Civic Society, details of which may be found in the Tourist Office, or, alternatively the West Kent Walking and Outdoor Group often arrange guided walks around the Tonbridge Area.

There is a Hidden Heritage Tour Bus which makes three trips daily each Sunday up to 1st October

The Office also deals with local planning matters, resident's  parking permits and also the Tonbridge Castle Wedding enquiries.
