A series of twelve walks. In support of the initiative to improve peoples health, Friends of Dunorlan Medical Group are offering a series of guided walks. The walks have been designed to assist the improvement of health and also to foster the enjoyment of countryside within the Tonbridge area. The walks are typically between 3 and 5 miles in length and therefore provide a comfortable afternoons ramble. All the routes are well tried and tested. They have been chosen for ease of progress and not as assault courses. Thus allowing maximum enjoyment of the countryside, its flora and fauna. We expect each walk to take between two and two and a half hours to complete. This may vary according to the pace which has to be geared to the slowest walkers. The intention is to enjoy the walk and scenery, not to beat speed records. Each walk (except 2nd January 2000), will take place on the last Sunday of each month and commence at 2.OOpm. Prior to each walk, details will be posted in local surgeries, chemist shops, public library and tourist office. There will be a charge of £2 for each walk. To book a place on one or more of the walks, or for more information, please contact: Alan Dane on 01732-355721
