The Antiquarian Horological Society, founded in 1953 by
a group of horological collectors and enthusiasts, and informally known as the AHS, exists
to promote the study of clocks & watches, the history of time measurement and the
conservation of our horological heritage in all its forms. |
The Society organises around 100 meetings each year on a
monthly basis, on either an evening in the week or at the weekend. Each regional
section has its own meetings programme and in additiona there is a monthlt main society
meeting, generally held in London. |
